I’m Dane Georges, a visual designer, senior creative engineer, and cartoonist living in Evanston, Illinois, with my wife and cat.
The work changes shape, but the instinct stays the same: take something complicated, find the idea inside it, and make it clear enough to connect with people.

The longer version
Hey!
By day, I help teams turn complex creative work into usable systems. My experience spans storytelling, digital production, branding, design systems, and creative management. I care about the part where a strong idea becomes a repeatable way of working.
By night, I make strange, humorous, and existential comics about outcasts: a sentient wad of gum questioning its existence, an ex-supervillain working at a grocery store, and two hapless roommates trying to survive in the big city.
I also host Dangerous Comics, where I review indie comics and dig into the history of cartooning.
